What is Tryghedsappen?
Tryghedsappen is a mobile app developed for smartphones—both iPhone and Android.
The app provides a range of integrated features that create safety for the user and their loved ones, whether family or close friends.
The user creates their own network of emergency contacts—those who are contacted directly via the app if something happens to the user.
Tryghedsappen was created with the aim of creating value for both the user and their loved ones by contributing to greater everyday safety.
Who can use the app?
Tryghedsappen’s primary user profile is older adults living alone, aged 65–85, who still live in their own home.
This is someone who uses a smartphone for more than “just” calling; in other words, someone with experience using mobile apps.
There are also many other target groups who can benefit from the sense of safety the app provides—for example, young people or adults who live alone and want a network they can contact if the need arises.
Is my personal data secure?
Tryghedsappen is deliberately developed with respect for the fact that the user’s data belongs only to the user. Therefore, Tryghedsappen only collects data related to functionality—not profiling of the user or emergency contacts.
We comply with all EU and UK regulations regarding privacy and GDPR.
How does the app work in practice?
Tryghedsappen is installed on the user’s smartphone after the app is downloaded and then simply needs to be configured.
Configuration is simple and doesn’t require many taps.
As a user, you must contact the person or people you trust and would like to have as your emergency contact(s).
The user then sends an invitation asking them to be an emergency contact. This means the emergency contact(s) must also download the app. In the app, they receive an invitation that must be accepted.
The user can then choose when they want a safety notification, which can be set to any times—for example, morning and evening.
Does it cost anything to use the app?
Tryghedsappen is based on a monthly subscription.
This can be paid monthly or once a year at a discount.
You use your payment details in the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Tryghedsappen is downloaded from Apple’s App Store or Google Play. It’s available on both platforms—iOS and Android.
